Rogue Schmidt is a NYC based (Chicago built, farm raised) lesbian comedian, actor and writer. Rogue won Chicago Reader’s Best Comedian, likely for her recurring impression of buffoon politician, Chris Christie, that gripped Chicago’s cultish underground weekly live show, The Paper Machete at The Green Mill.
Her second special, Going Rogue: A Fat Dyke Comedy Show sold out with a wait list at Dorothy Lesbian Bar. Her sophomore show's success has enabled her to take the show on the road as Going Rogue: A Fat Dyke Comedy Tour to be performed across this nation’s 38 remaining lesbian bars in 2026 & 2027.
Rogue’s debut solo show, The Locker Room ran for 6 sold out weeks at the Annoyance Theater in Chicago, IL and went onto rave reviews at Edinburgh Fringe Festival in 2024. Audiences said, “I’ve never seen a more electric performance.”, “Very Little Miss Sunshine.” and “Beyond Unhinged.”
In Chicago, Rogue was cast in the Just For Laughs 2025 Showcase at The iO Theater. She was an understudy for Second City’s Jeff- Nominated e.t.c’s 48th Revue: Best Kept Secret: Tell Everyone performing Claudia Martinez’s Jeff-Nominated track.
Rogue hosted and performed in The Annoyance’s 2024 Queer Comedians To Watch, and was a featured player for Gag Reflex’s Annoyance residency.
Rogue frequently performs with The Lesbian Lodge at The Lincoln Lodge, Dyke Nite’s Gay Ass, Future of Comedy Festival, and Rogue starred as the lead in Melanie Field's short film, Best In The World, that won her Queen City Film Festival’s Best Female Performance.
